This "seed of Christ" in all spiritual truth, and heavenly love, joy, and peace, is logically so, for when we speak of God, we refer by image to loving, absolute, immutable Truth. This Truth is living Truth, not static knowledge of. So, logically and spiritually, all forms of Truth must be from and of and for God, Who is Truth of truths. And, logically, and truly, this must apply of any way that is guided by the universal virtues, arising from the Word: Who is the sole Fount of love, joy, and peace. Why? For Christ, being the Word, or Logos, enlightening all persons, according to John 1, is the Incarnated absoluteness and summation~beginning and end~of these very Christian~thus Christ~qualities of true and just godliness.
Finally, simply knowing of how to get to God does not mean one will do that. Notice in the story that the pilgrims, while knowing of how to get to the mountain top, remained with the knowledge without proceeding to the Voice that gave it.
Suggested Reflection
Can one know Christ through union with the qualities that arise from Christ, and in perfection are God, as the Word giving light to all persons? Or does one have to know cognitively and accept fully the special revelation, which is the gift of the Church to the world, to be living in communion with God as Father, or Mother? This hinges on a difference between knowing as experience and intuitively and knowing as cognitive. Explain your answer.
Do you think most persons are circling the mountain with their religious knowledge, or have moved, or are moving, to fellowship with the Voice? Explain.
