We need to note a most important truth: Only the obedience in the name of Christ which flows from the inspirations of Grace is Christian obedience. The whole of the spiritual Christian's life is a response to the ever-flowing movements, subtle and clear, of the Spirit upon will and affections, transforming inaction or mere action into sacramental action. This differentiates cultural faith or mere dissident faith, as in varied spiritualites formed from rebellion against traditional religions, from spiritual Christianity.

Have you had a recent inner change or outer act of loving obedience you know resulted from divine inspiration? Explain.
Is the sacred Spirit summoning you at present to some inner change or outer action? Explain.
Is there some inspiration that has led you to inner consent, but you have not moved to act? What is it? What might you need to do to move toward acting on the consent?
