Today's Scripture~Psalm 26.1-3 (NLT)
1 Declare me innocent, O Lord, for I have acted with integrity; I have trusted in the Lord without wavering. 2 Put me on trial, Lord, and cross-examine me. Test my motives and my heart. 3 For I am always aware of your unfailing love, and I have lived according to your truth.
Wisdom Story~The Secret of Life
At the creation of the universe, the One called upon the archangels. The One asked the archangels to help decide where to put the Secret of Life.
"Bury it in the ground," replied one angel. "Put it on the bottom of the sea," said another. "Hide it in the mountains," spoke another.
The One replied, "If I do any of those only a few will find the Secret of Life. The Secret of Life must be accessible to everyone but where only those who most want it will go to seek it!"
Another angel, who had been silent, replied, "I know! Put it in each person's heart. That will be the last place most persons will think to look."
"Yes!" exclaimed the One. "Within each person's heart. For the heart is accessible to all, and the heart is a place only those most desirous will seek the Secret of Life."
And so it was ... and is ~ The Secret of Life lies within your heart.
