Wisdom Story
A king was passing in a chariot. By the roadside he saw a poor man with a bag full of corn. The king spoke, "Give me some corn." The poor man said to himself, "This guy must be crazy. But I'll give him some corn." He took the five least good ears of corn from the bag. He gave the ears to the king. Upon returning home, he looked inside his bag of corn and discovered the five least good ears of corn there. They had become five golden ears of corn. He heard the king say, "If you had given me the whole bag of corn, all of it would have turned to gold."
Wisdom Quote
The more you expend yourself, the more is given you to expend. Living the eternal life is living in the eternal dance, living in the shakti [eternal power]. The shakti is boundless and gives away everything so that everything can pour in, and then be given away again. We are on this earth to live in this ecstasy, and the ecstasy itself grows deeper and wider, richer and more stable, if you keep giving away everything you have, everything you know.

Suggested Reflection
What does the above story of the king and the ears of corn say about the Divine? Spiritual living?
Ecstasy is from the Greek ek-histani and means "to set outside." What are you "setting outside" yourself that the Divine has "set inside" [instasy] you?
What spiritual gifts do you have that bless you the most when you bless others by sharing them?
Is there a spiritual gift you are not sharing as you need to? What do you need to do to share that gift?
