Grace is a continual flow of divine energies that vitalizes us, totally, to meet each moment with gracefulness. The primary question of character is not, "Do I live a good life?," but "Am I a graceful person?" Grace will enable us in situations that we could not in our own strength be gracious to be gracious.
Suggested Exercise:
Is there an area of your life, possibly a relationship or job situation or family matter ..., in which you are needing to pray for new graces to be gracious? Rather than focusing so much on doing the right thing in that context, pray about the kind of person you are being called to be in that situation. God will never allow you to face a challenge in which you will be expected to behave ungraciously.
