No, we cannot go back and undo the mistakes of the past. We can pray to see the world through the eyes of God. If we do, then, we will look for the special manifestations and marked presence of the Divine in those "places" that are often considered of less importance and less promise. Indeed, we will be willing to become a Bethlehem~a person considered of no or little importance~that Love will be born in and through us during these turbulent and uncertain times.
Scripture: I Corinthians 1.26-28 (NLT)
26 Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that few of you were wise in the world’s eyes or powerful or wealthy[a] when God called you. 27 Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful. 28 God chose things despised by the world,[b] things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important.
